Oh how I love this city… I went to Prague during the holidays and was pumped to get a chance to see it in the summer. It seems any time of year this city is bustling with things to see/eat/do and swarmed with people from all over the world. Such good vibes.

We enjoyed our tasty breakfast at Sir Toby’s, hopped on the tram and headed towards the Prague Castle. This 9th century beauty is the largest ancient castle in the world, according to the Guinness Book of Records. The architecture, history and the fantastic view of the city make this a “gotta see it” spot while in Prague. We were even lucky enough to run into some birds of prey in one of the Castle’s gardens.

The tourist traffic to get into the St. Vitus Cathedral wasn’t bad at all so we were able to pop in and check it out from the inside. The light falling though the stained glass was just magical. It was definitely dramatic.

The day was spent walking from the Castle, down the hill, over the Charles Bridge and through the city. A few street markets made for some great snacking and souvenir shopping.

As the sun started to set we made our way to the Vltava riverside walk. It was vibrating with relaxed energy with people gathered along the river, eating, drinking and chatting. Food and drink vendors line the riverside along with many ship restaurants tied to the banks. After scoping it out we decided to grab a pizza and a few ciders and do as the locals… and it was fantastic. We watched the sunset over the river and then were treated to live music floating over the water blanketed with reflections of the city.
