On our first day in London we were taken on a city bus tour and as tired as I was from the early (3am) travel day, I was looking forward to it. Unfortunately most of the city seems to be in a state of chaos with all the construction. Traffic was a mess all day so we ended up having to scratch a bunch of the stops off the list.
We were able to stop by and take a peak at Buckingham Palace and the surrounding neighbors and parks. The Queen Mum wasn’t home, we found out, because the Union Jack is flown when she’s not in residence and the Royal Standard flag.
