We spent a week in Deutsch Schützen, Austria and it’s location on the Hungarian border made for a few extra adventures! We took a few hours and hopped over the border to Kőszeg and went to a highly recommended restaurant, Becsikapu. This small cozy spot made me giggle because it was all medieval themed… like a lil mini Medieval Times but without the show.
The prices are unbeatable and the traditional fare we tried was fantastic! The staff was helpful in helping us work our way thru the menu in both German and English. Great experience and delish food… win win!
